That's All Folks!

the end.

Flyers Out and About!

New Flyer/Post-it Design

I used the new avatar logo to design the new flyers. I've done two different designs, inverting the colours. There was space a the top of the design, which I have used to hand write personal slogans and messages. I thought this was a good idea because it uses that hand written element and personal touch that the videos on the site have. Each one is slightly different, and I aimed to make them slightly humorous  considering my target audience and locations. They are to catch peoples' eye briefly, and distract them enough to think that it might be worth a look. As mentioned, I plan to place these around the uni library and cafes, and even in some public places, where they can catch people at a time where they might want, or be free, to have a distraction.

Going Viral

After the promotional video was put on the Bards Talk YouTube channel, I used this like to then share on Facebook amongst my friends and family. I shared the original channel link, where the logo showed, I shared the promotional video link from YouTube, and I also shared the individual character video links with the people who were involved with them, tagging them at the same time. The hope is that people will like and share these videos, and that the friends of the people in the video will like and share them! Although, I'm not sure how successful this will really be :-S

Promo Film & New Logo on the Channel

I've set it up so that the promotional video is the featured video on the channel and starts automatically when people visit. This is to make sure people know what the site is about straight away! I like how the new logo looks and how all the colours tie into the site.

More Fonts (in the square)

After trying out a few different fonts for the YouTube avatar image, I have decided that the best one is Myriad Pro, that I used before. It is a sans serif font, with a little character in the 'wiggle' of the 'R', it is modern, simple, and still interesting because of it's layout in the square. In comparison to the other fonts, Myriad Pro is also the most evenly spread and fits best within the square.
