How to End and Link the Character Videos

Internet Chat Idea

This is the idea that all these mini/ modern monologues are uploaded to a specific online channel designed to host this content. For example "Bards Talk". I am also trying out other names or slogans such as "Sharing Shakespeare", or "Which Character are you" (work-in-progress!). With this channel in mind, the videos are supposed to look like they are a live chat or feed from the character presenting it, or at least a video submission. In this case, when the video ends the character's username comes up, along with the channel name and link to further information and content, or "appear offline".

I can create a channel on Youtube under the channel name intended, and use that to host all the video diaries, which would be suitable as this is the platform that theatres are using and younger audience are using, so is appropriate for the project aims.

Custom Signs Idea

This idea uses hand made board signs written by the actor/character, to be shown at the end of the diary videos. Hand written signs might be seen as more personal and relatable, and also in vogue with other lo-fi youthful design styles at the moment. However, this doesn't really flow with the medium I am intending to distribute this content through, and reaching the audience. It should reflect this more.

Basic Slide Idea

This idea is obviously just covering the most basic form that the "branding" could take. This is through using simple title screens with the various relevant slogans and information on them, which shows the name of the project, character shown and where the viewers should access more information online. The graphics and type would obviously have to be designed to appeal to the style of the project and content, so could be more appropriate and variable in that sense. However, this is probably too simple, and I feel it doesn't make the most of the medium that is used (like the previous idea).

MY RESPONSE
At this point, I feel most confident with the idea that the videos are hosted on an online channel, and they should begin and end with a channel brand and user name screen similar to the look of existing content from hosting chat sites like Facebook, Skype, MSN etc etc. (I can imagine when these videos end it comes up with the character name and "appears offline").

I like this idea because I think it reflects the medium and online platforms it is supposed to be using, and also it is supposed to be joining all the other content that has been made on Shakespeare by other people, and uploaded to the same sort of sites. All of this content, making Shakespeare modern and relevant.
